Default Black Interior?: Buy black interior or get mine re-done

Im thinking ab doing a black interior for my car, and see black interior parts are expensive and are in high demand (most of the time.)

I want to kno whats the diiference in buying oem black interior parts compared to re-doing my interior if I just bought the material and did it myself.

Can you tell if its not oem lexus stuff?
What kind of leather material should i buy?

Thanks

Good morning. This subject has been covered over a thousand times on here. If you use SEM paint, the color choice is yours. We mostly have used the Black Landau paint. This gives a slight shine to it. Some have used flat black. I personally like the Black Landau. Check out the interior I redone for my buddy Jay.

You cant tell if it is not, if done correctly and not rushed. I even sprayed my OEM tan leather seats black, and Jay's was a synthetic pleather material.

$475 for full leather black interior. E-brake boot and center console Front and rear seats.

Or you can redo your seats yourself.

I'm getting new leather seats from this seller

$275. Going to just get my two front ones. In grey.

Thanks for the info, but thats not what im asking about.

I dont want to paint my interior. I want to know the difference between if I buy leather, and re-wrap my interior or buy a full black interior from an sc. Is there any difference in material? Is there any way to tell that the interior has been redone?

Guess it depends on who you buy your leather from. You can get better quality than OEM if you want to.

These leather places have the manufacturer spec of the original seats so they will fit perfectly. After that it's up to the quality of the leather. You can ask for a sample of the leather they use. I would go this route over buying used seats that are likely worn already.

$475?? Damn forget that haha. I'd rather get custom clazzio seat covers (which I did). Since mine was a special order I waited about a month. Check them out, it came with front and rear seats, and center console, no ebrake boot.
