Default What else can go wrong?

OK, let me give you a litlle bit of history in what this car has been through. I bought my 96 Diamond Pearl SC300 a little over 2 years ago. It was pretty much stock for a while. It had Tein coil overs, 19" volks, HID's, nothing too fancy. I bought everything for the GTE swap, including single turbo and some other goodies. Not too long after that I crash it. So it goes into the body shop and comes out with a Bomex body kit( bad idea ), carbon fiber hood, and fresh paint. It was winter so it got put away. About a month into spring I let my girl drive the car and guess what........She hits a curb and cracks up the front end and bends a wheel. I calmly pick up the car and tell her not to worry about it. A week later the rear end blows. By this time I am fed up with the car so it sits for a while. When I get my motivation back I put in a new rear end, get the wheels refinished, and send it back to the body shop to fix everything. The body kit was removed, the whole car was repainted again, and it should of come out looking better than it did when it came off the showroom. Not for me though. I get the car back and it looks terrible. There is dust in the clear coat, there are tape marks where they taped it off, there are actually paint chips right out of the body shop, there are parts that were never replaced, the wheels have overspray on them, they also have curb rash for some reason, and needless to say I am pissed again. So the car is scheduled to go back again tomorrow, but it doesn't stop there. I took it out last night and what do I find when I get back to my car after what seemed to be a pretty good night? Some ***** decided it would be a good idea to pick out the nice car on the street and smash the damn mirror. I love coming back to my car at 3am to find my mirror dangling. So once again I am fed up with this silly thing and I have a garage full of motors, turbos, exhaust, etc that I don't even want to think about. Sorry for the long post guys, I just wanted to share my frustrations with you guys. Hope you guys are having better luck than I am.

This is one of the reasons i wish we had panoramic cameras in the inside of the car, just to watch out for a$$es like that, get there face, report to the cops, find them and charger them... Hope your car turns out good in the end though.

OK, so I dropped the car off yet again today and to tell you the truth the guy did not give me a good feeling about it. The whole time I was telling him what to fix he was staring off into space. I gave him a list of what to do but I'm still not feeling very confident. All I can do is keep my fingers crossed and hope it comes out right this time.

This would be a great idea if I wanted to pay for it twice, however I will give these guys a chance to fix it before I spend another small fortune in body work.

Oh ya and that mirror that someone decided to smash over the weekend is going to cost me $700? That doesn't sound right. I'm looking into other options now......

Just a little update for you guys. I found a cheaper mirror, and a friend of mine is going to paint it. That is a plus, however I just got off the phone with the bodyshop and they are trying to **** me around with the wheels. They say that they have gone out of there way for me and blah, blah, blah. If you ask me, I think this guy is on crack. The only things they are doing for me is fixing the **** that THEY ****ed up. Besides that the wheels were spotless when they went in, I just had them refinished, and now the have overspray and curb damage. Obviously this wasn't from me. This guys is getting on my nerves.
