recently purchased my 94 sc300 bought it with 100k miles at 109k .now my transmission is acting up .the overdrive light starts flashing whenever it feels like it and put my car in a lazy mode . i changed the oil and it did not make a difference. should i flush it couple times or ji have a better chance getting a forien used tranny.

 

shift solenoid!!!! Do the Search....

 

the flashing OD light is an ECU problem. The ECU isn't getting as correct signal, or something electrical isn't working properly.
The solenoid are a good place to start looking.

 

Go to Search on the top left and type in Overdrive flashing. I know its the shift solenoid because i had it.

 

yea it was a that i bought a soarer transmission and called it a day
