Default Boost Logic Turbo kit

Does anybody know how many pounds of boost the Boost Logic stage 2 kit makes to make the sc300 450-550 rwhp? Maybe you can help me SW, if i remember correctly you had your work done there?

I would say for that kind of power 20 PSI is needed. The boost is controlled by the wastegate spring that is included with the package.

If you buy an aftermarket boost controller you will be able to control the boost to whatever you would like.

Really? I made 411 rwhp on a T61 at 14.7 PSI. Thats on 9.2:1 CR.

Soo. Putting a Stage II 2.5 mm headgasket on your motor drops your CR to 8.5:1 which means less power. Approx 1 bar of boost on a 8.5:1 motor will yield high near 400. Add 5 more PSI to that equasion which is usually 15-20 HP per lb of boost, and you're right around 450-500 rwhp.

Lets not speak unless you have some real experience kay?

you probably only need 15-16 psi for that much hp.

Does he have any additional supporting mods? We're talking about stock + kit here. And applications vary differently per car. I can care less about your 20G turbo, that has nothing to do with what we're discussing.

To make this kind of power, you will need roughly 20PSI. Now unless you can find someone here with a stock+kit that made beyond 550 rwhp, I would like to know.

And lets not forget that the peak efficiency of the Precision T61 offered by Boostlogic is 22+ PSI.
Either your "tuner" is bsing you, the dyno is miscalibrated, or the car is just different.

he does not have any supporting mods aside from aem... he's running the bl kit with aem and a 2.5mm headgasket.. his dyno sheet has been posted here on club lexus.. We're both on stock motor with headgasket and headstuds..

please stop talking out of your ***, how can the 20g turbo not have anything to do with it? you said i have no real world experience.. if a turbo that flows significantly less than a t61 can make almost 400whp on 12psi running rich, why would a t61 need 20psi to see 450whp? kirk on clubna-t also made 520whp on 18psi through a v8 maf and safc.. he is also on stock motor with a headgasket and headstuds.. miscalibrated dyno too? his dyno sheets have also been posted.. what do you mean his car is different? its an na-t sc300 just like mine and just kirks is an na-t supra.. Just admit you dont know what you are talking about..

Are you blind? Look at the numbers, im talking from 500 - 550 rwhp. If everyone is running 18 psi and making low 500's thats right on mark from what I originally stated.

Stop bringing up 450 as if that was the benchmark I was giving info to.
