Default Why me?!!!!!

Got rear ended last October and the driver had a substandard insurance company so that was a mess to deal with. Got the car fixed, put it up for the winter. Just got it out and got a nice new Alpine system put in with ipod connection.

So guess what happens when I am sitting in it tonight listening to the sounds, wiping it down and cleaning it out?

You guessed it. Some guy leaving a restaurant with his wife slowly backs into me. He is backing out of a spot behind and across from me by about 20 yards. I have no idea how he back into me from that far in a darn Civic.

He has State Farm and claimed responsibility to me and the cop so this should be easy but hey you never know.
The first nice day, the ride is clean and this happens. No pics yet. Good night. Maybe it's all a bad dream and I am already asleep.

That sucks man....I would have flipped.
At least he had decent insurance.

I've been rear ended twice in my SRT4...both BOTH OF THEM because of stupid people not paying attention. Talking on the phone or whatever!!!

Now I'm pissed for you!!!! Why cant people pull their heads out of their butts!!!!!!

It wasn't a dream afterall.

I'm going to get it looked at this weekend and also go ahead and get those dings and chips taken care of as well.

After that I am going to park my car in the middle of a field from now on. Knowing my luck it will be the time they cut the grass and it will get rear ended by a tractor.

it'll never stop man...not as long as you drive the car regularly and park it in public places. My SC was flawless when I first got it...Now, 3 years later, every single scratch and ding on it was caused by someone else's negligence. People don't care, they will see a nice shiny car parked yards out in a parking lot away from everyone else and they're strangely drawn to it, they MUST park next to it, it's like an inescapable tractor beam...I don't get it. No matter how hard you try some people are just anus's.

lol dude I feel ya on this one. Last year (Feb 05) I got rear ended had to deal with the guy who hit me and his insurance company...Finally in March I took it to get repaired. Took about 6 weeks for the repair plus I had the whole car painted. Car was in and out of the shop for about another 6 weeks to deal little paint issues and some stuff they didnt do as I asked...Finally the car was totally finished in June, I went on vacation for 3 weeks, come back driver the car for about 3 weeks then in August I got t-boned!

Man, that sucks to hear about your car. Sometimes, you just can't escape the negative energy
of the universe that happens to follow you.

Honestly, if I were you, I would get rid of the car. I know that sounds harsh, but here me out.

In my family, we have this understanding that if you've ever get in an accident with a car, you just have to get rid of it. You just don't want that negative energy/curse following you around. You have
to free yourself of it. Seriously.

Same thing happend with my last car! I had a 1989 Integra, silver, well kept. Hit a deer while just going for a drive in the woods....the car was a few hundred dollars from being totaled. Took them three weeks to fix it, drove the car for another 7 months, then it threw a rod bearing (I was running it up a hill on a hot summer day), overheated, and caught on fire (on the way to a job interview, and I was unemployed at the time!)....

So I agree, if it's just not meant to be then it's not.

Just be happy that you were there and the fool has insurance, as stated before both my cars have been dinged without a note or a human body I could abuse. All I can say is "stay away from my cars you idiots".
