Default The Lex got hit today!!!!!!!! Help!!!!

I left the gym and got into my car. At this point I hadn't noticed anything. Mainly because I just fininshed a really good workout. Well I had to make a pit stop at the local wal mart. I was inside for only five minutes. I came out and saw that my rear driver side quareter panel was dented in. It looked like another car hit me. I know it happed at the gym because the car that was parked next to me at walmart was the same when i went in. This is definitely and isurance job. But the thing is I have previous damage that wasn't worth me filing a claim because my deductible is really high. Do you think I could tell the insurance about all the damages now and they will file it as one claim or will the do multiple claims?

it really depends on your insurance company and what your policy is.

Doubt it. "Most" insurance companies have a policy that it's your job to report the damage and claims in timely manner. Sometimes they won't honor a claim if its clear the damage has been there for a long time (I.E. Rust starting to form, etc.) If the damage is near your current dent and looks like it could be one in the same then you might be okay.

See if you can get the body shop to include it in the estimate price.

add some more damages to it, get your story straight and claim it was vandalism. my bro had his miata broken into, and he just keyed his car up, filed a police report and the insurance company covered his window and paint job. then again, depends on your insurance company too.

Yeah, I've had friends who did that too. It doesn't look the best on record, but nothing beats fresh paint.

I don't think this is a good idea (fraudulent). I would get the estimate from the body shop first to see how much that would cost you to get it fix and check with your insurance to see what is your deductible..Don't do anything to commit fraudulent act, it is not worth it...

true, but if you live in the ghetto, less likely you will get caught unless you did something wrong. my parents lived in a ghetto *** neighborhood and my bro was lucky when it happened. that week, there was 4 cases of cars being broken into and keyed up. my cousin who works for Allstate says they're easier on clients who actually live in the ghetto, but their rates may be higher.

sad to hear your car got hit man. Mine got keyed a month ago and it will cost 2900 to fix it. Luckily my insurance will cover 2400 of it as my deductible is 500. Just claim it man and you'll be alright, no need to commit fraud!
