So I am planning on buying an AMuse full titanium exhaust but I just came across the super insanely sick looking Zee's for cheap.....but the thing is both the Amuse and this Zee's are "VVTI model specific." Does anyone know what, if anything, is really different? I plan on going with the VVTI engine eventually but it would suck to buy an exhaust only to have it sit for months while I wait to do my engine swap.

 

wow where did you find those exhausts?

im in the opposite area, i wwanna know if a 92-96 exhaust will fit my vvti engine. i cant seem to find any that specifically say 98+.

 

In Japan.....alot of the good exhausts are "VVTI version" so you should have no problem rocking one with your setup. What exhaust are you currently running?

 

i cant think of a single reason as to why they wouldnt work... nope, not one.

i say buy it, and try it... worst case, you may have to get a shop to modify it a little, or do it yourself, but i dont see that needing to be done.

Having owned both an earlier twin turbo and now the VVTi single, the ehxuast differences seem to be very minimal. The OEM VVTi exhaust from the Y-split looks a lot like the SC400 compared to the twin turbos, and the front pipe would be different (single forward facing turbo as opposed to the twin facing each other's back converging to a single dump), but the cat. back section should fit fine.

Where do you find these VVTi exhausts? Everywhere I look is non-VVTi compliant.

 

If my boss ever sponsors the board like I want him to, I'll post links to our website were you can order this kinda stuff. I've got more resources in Japan than most shops have resources in the U.S. so there's almost nothing we can't get our hands on.

Ahh yep I remember seeing that in the Hyper Rev, hot looking exhaust! I was interested in the normal twin tip, I think it's called the Premium.

EDIT: Found it, the Premium HF.

Very subtle but fills out the bumper quite nicely.

 

i dont have an exhaust yet, looking for a place to get a single exhaust right now. can you recommend a good site/seller to buy one?
