my garnet SC had the least bit of engine trouble and is currently in the shop. my rents say its the start of engine problems, which i totally disagree with them but wut SC should i replace my current 1993 SC3 with? The reasons why i should go that route? any help or suggestions on helping me find that "special one"? thanks in advance, its the forums that got me lovin the SC's, I will never do without!
97+ Black on Black with some Tein SS coilovers, a Toyomoto (highest stage) Turbo kit, HKS Ti Carbon exhaust, Vertex body and some Work wheels and you'll be good to go!
..ok now Im just dreaming. I voted for 97+ Black on Black!
my engine problems really aren't a big deal, my parents are just impatient, and a little over cautious. i really would love to fix up the engine a bit, but they aren't up for that, and since it's on their terms, maybe a replacement car wont be so bad? if it takes too long to find a black on black, i might settle for a 97+ black interior period, whether it be silver outside or not. thanks for ur help guys.
Man that was the same deal I was under as well (with my parents). I was about to chuck in a set of coilovers, new bushes and an R154 conversion as I had a dead gearbox and my parents told me to sell off the car
My new one makes up for it though. And you'll usually find one in better condition if it's a newer model.

yeah i can relate to you the most, coming from a previous generation SC on espelirs, (except for the small difference of your soarer engine). replacing a car is easy. but even with my small bit of mods, its gonna be hard to replace the new one with.
nysupraman,
Dude strip your mods from the current one. I wish I did this to mine and I regret it sometimes (even if it was just the wheels), something to add to the car at the moment would've been good.
OT: I additionally found out my old car pulled 160KW atw with the mods I did as the girl that owns my old car had it dyno'd... dammit I need more power now lol
