Default Painted wheels black

Well I painted my wheels black and left the lip silver. Car is dirty right now because it just rained. I am going to repaint them again and touch them up soon. Personally, I really like it. Also put a pic of my new HU install. Bought the alpine for a 100 bucks from a friend and I am going to put a apexi safc2 in the spot below it.

Well when your a senior in high school, it is hard to come by 2-3 grand for a decent set of rims and tires. I was bored with my stock rims so I decided to change it up a little bit. But yeah I admit it can be kind of honda thing to do. But for now it works for me .IMO my rims are similar to the supra tt rims, and I have seen other members paint them black or gun metal. So that in a way influenced me, also the member aerostar, who painted his stock rims black too. Anyways I appreciate the comments.

I love my new cd player, it made my system sound soooo much better.
I will have the afc prolly around christmas time. Slowly putting together everything.

and i recall how that thread turned out too. Fortunately we have a bigger ban stick these days and a lack of tolerance for childish behavior

Wait, I'm confused, was I acting childish? Or are you saying in general. If it was me, I didn't mean to come off that way, sorry.

Anyways yeah they usually look a little shinier but I might try like a gloss black next time.

Lucky you, when I was in high school I had three choices for transportation. Ride my bike, catch AC Transit, or and this is the best one walk baby boy. Rims can be had at anytime, finish your turbo project.

Yeah man that sucks. But yeah I am going to finish the turbo project. Then eventually if I keep the car, which I want to own for forever, I will give it a nice coilover setup with a nice 18/19 inch staggered setup rims.
But I just need FI.

+1 on knowing how it is to have little money while being a senior and lacking funds.... if you like it to hell with anything negative people say! looks great untill the proper funds come along to buy some $$$$ wheels! good work.
