They are application specific, they sell em for the "sc400" because some of you know it was used in some road racing series here in the states a few years back. I dont think theres any difference in putting it in a sc300. Ill call em later maybe, but it comes just as bent and precut pieces, u need to weld it all together.

yes, lets all get rollcages so that we can be safe. how do their roll cages affect body flex, how much weight do they add, and why do you think it is such a good idea to have one in a daily driver? just some ?s for ya.

I have a SWracecars cage in my sc. They made it model specific for the sc400 and is NHRA approved and IHRA approved. I compared it to my freinds mazworx cage and it seems almost identical. I payed 188 shipped for mine and went with the 8 point, rear x brace and removable doorbars for 100 more.

They are 139.95 until labor day and shipping is 48.14 to Florida.
But let me make this straight before everyone goes and orders one expecting a drop in cage. It IS NOT drop in and go. These are weld in cages and the template they made for the SC400 was a non sunroof car and gutted interior. SW racecars builds very very good cages, but for RACECAR apllications. They told me they got the template off a drag SC that was strictly for drag. If you have a sunroof as I do, you need to trim off 1 inch off each side on the main loop, you need to remove your deadpedal that is molded to your carpet and mod the rear panel that cover the gastank.
I knew what I was getting in to when I purchased it. I couldn't complain for the price though and since I planned on welding it myself with my brother, I wasn't too worried.
Just don't buy it expecting it to be easy. You need to gut the whole car before you weld it in. I'll snap a few photos later.

I have also been interested in this roll bar. I would love to see some pics. Anyone got any info on fitment for just the 8-point roll bar? Is there any serious interior interference with just that rear section? Can the rear seat remain in the car? Sure, nobody is ever sitting in mine, but for the sake of cosmetics, I'd prefer to leave rear seat in. It's still a street car afterall.
