Mario,
I'd like to swing by and see the end result of the dye on the dash!!! I want to see and feel. Any chances of it getting tacky, or flaking? especially in heat??

Seems SEMS is the way to go

Keep up the great DIY stuff guys!!!

Chris

Your steering wheel looks like mine. Are you going to use the same die on it too? The dash looks critical !

What are you going to do about the ***** and markers? I was looking at mine today and it looks like a big hassle to mask off the lettering and such. Are you just going to replace them, or paint them black too? Talking about the center counsole

havent really thought about the buttons for the center console. it would be really difficult to mask off the lettering. i'll probably just buy black buttons when i can find a good deal.

I took my cluster out and threw it in my friends car to make sure it worked and it did. till havne't figured anyhting out yet and it's driving me crazy.

Default ...maybe a solution

Hey guys i think i have the answer to your problems. When i did my full black interior swap we had to rip eveything out...i mean a full gut job. Well when everything was put back together guess what?? No cluster lights...Well after much sitting, thinking , swearing and looking somemore i found the problem. Where the radio is under all those harnesses and crap is oem ground wires. If you disconected it you have to make sure to put it back.. Just go back and make sure you screwed everthing back on under there and it should fix it.(its right where your cig lighter is but underneath).. It did for me anyway.. Good luck!

Mine was rough, so I used a scotch bright pad to smooth it out. Since I used a lot of coats of dye on the dash, it didn't mess it up.
