My friends dad owns a marine re-uppholstering shop and it is one of the best in the country... he says SEM is the best dye you can buy for interior as it will hold up the best and last forever. I saw the dye itself used on my friends Mustang and it looks OEM.

i am ready to dye all my brown pieces in my car with SEM dye but dont know how many cans i should buy to dye all the pieces in the car. can anyone tell me how many cans should i buy? also i will be buying the SEM plastic/leather prep. how many of these should i also buy or one would be enough? the SEM plastic/leather prep is sold in 11.25oz. would that be enough? also should i buy the SEM dye high gloss clear finish?

LOL. I'm still doing the Leatherique, $120 for 32 oz. of Cleaner, 32 oz. of Prep, and 32 oz, of Dye, including 4 oz. of crack filler. I don't this deal is beatable, it's just a matter of time as to when for me.
It says on Leatherique that this much is enough to recolor a smaller end 4 door sedan, i.e. something the size of an IS. That's MORE than enough for an SC, and it will be nice to have some leftover for minor touchups along the road.

well guys i just ordered two cans of sem dye gloss black (each can 13oz), two cans of sem dye high gloss finish (each can 13oz), and sem plastic/leather prep (11.25oz). everything came out to be $60. we'll see how this turns out.
