I don't know why, but I had a negative experience w/ RIT dye when I tried it. I let it dry outside for over 2 days and it still bled onto my shoes and my clothes whenever I was doing work in the interior. I ended up buying new black carpet and black floor mats because I was so sick of it bleeding.

RIT dye will not work on leather. It's is only supposed to be used for fabrics. I wouldn't even use SEMS on leather seats. EIther buy black seat covers or try that leatherique stuff.

I have used SEM on ALL of my leather interior and the results are still amazing. The most important steps to the this, is the prep before. Make sure its sanded properly and dryed. My SC is a daily driver, and its still holding up, even my driver seat.
I wouldnt use RIT unless its on the carpet or the floor mats, NOT the leather. Use SEM or something similiar. JMO.
