For those of us who've decided to take our cars to a Lexus dealer for service, and have noticed that the quality of that service can vary greatly, would it be to our advantage to have a section where others could go and see a performance report of certain Lexus dealers?
This wouldn't be an ends all thing, but a "heads up" for those of us who like our cars and bank accounts .

Just an idea I had after spending $4k on repairs and finding loose wires, missing hose clamps, air in the cooling system.
I haven't been back to try and resolve these issues yet so I can't totally gripe,but...

I hear you on that... I took my 92 SC4 for inspection and routine maintenance and they didn't do squat! Also they stripped my top Hex bolt for the differential.

I had to take it back the following week and showed the manager and they did all the maintenance for free.

it was Hennesy Gwinnett Georgia.. btw

Thumbs up This is a great Idea

This is a great Idea. I have a 1998 SC400 and it is still under warranty. The Lexus dealership service department in my area stinks. My car has been to the dealership 4 times in the last 2 months for the same problem.

In the case of a hard to find problem,I would be sure and get it out there in case it's something someone else here on this forum may have dealt with or even solved.
I know that the ability to do better and care for the customer's cars exists.
Today I went back to show the service manager my loose wires, broken wire retainer clips, etc.,and got basically the bums rush;you'd think that after spending well over $4K for service that the techs could at least put all the wires back, not allow engine wires to ride on moving serpentine beltsand replace what they broke during the service procedure.
What really burns me is that they expected me to purchase the $1.82 clips that were broken, now I fear the competency of the tech who installed my timing belt, and seals.

I definately won't be going back to Lexus of Seattle.(Lynwood)
