1. what year Sc400 is best to get for the money 92-95?
2. what external dealer or aftermarket parts is there for these years to put on for more horsepower available.
3. is the spring shock lowering kit for this car really worth the money $1000-1500 dollars
4. Is there any currently making a supercharger for this car?
5. Has anyone bought and tried the toronado or turbonator devise yet?
6. there is a company advertising at electricsupercharger.com for a small electric style supercharger for this car any good?
7. is the 4.0 liter motors in these a interference or non-interference motor.

This will do for now enough info to be answered, any and all help would be appreciated thanks!!!!!!

If you are asking about 5 and 6, why does 7 matter?

1. Find one with the least mileage.
2. www.google.com
3. Same as with any other car.
4. Sorta, search https://www.clublexus.com/forums/search.php

For my own personal edification, how old are you?

5. stay away and run. that stuff sucks
6. if you have money to spare, jsut send me some money, and i'll tell ya your motor is faster

1. Best for the money, that really depends on the condition the cars in and the mileage. There are also differences between 92-94. 95 SC's came with fog lights and from 92-94 they had turn signals. 95 SC's have different tail lights than 92-94.

2. Aftermarket parts, you would really have to do a search. As far as aftermarket parts i dont think that there are as much aftermarket parts available for the SC400 as there are for the SC300 in terms of horsepower gains due to the fact that there are more parts available in terms of hp gain that are interchangeable with the Supra.

3. Suspension wise spending $1000-1500 dollars, is it worth it? It really depends on preference and the quality of the shocks and springs. I spent 1400 on shocks and springs and i am happy with every dollar spent.

4. Supercharger? Not that i know of that you can purchase in the United States. They do have one in Austrailia, and i do not know anyone that has imported it to the U.S.

5. I'm not sure about this one, do a search to find out.

6. I dont know anyone who has purchased it i doubt it will make any differneces in hp

7. The 1UZ-FE V8 motor from 92-97 are non - interference. Im not sure about the VVTI verslon

closed,... that' s a lil' harsh,... I, a veteran member learned something new from the generosity of the membersx here.... for example,... I never knew if the motor was non-interference.

that's good to know even though i change my timing belt at the proper mileage,...but still good to know, if it should fail.

...but yeas,... use of the search button is fundamental like reading....

Welcome to the club. All the stuff you're asking has been discussed in great detail several times already. Try entering key words into the search field at the top of the forum and read away. Be prepared to be reading threads for about 2 weeks, do a little reaseach first, then ask all the questions you like, but you have to at least have a base of information. Good luck

You can also look here for most of that info www.intellexual.net

When it comes to these cars, you get what you pay for. Spending $60 on a perfomance mod is a total waste. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

1. 95
2. Too general to answer. There are many parts to make your car go faster.
3. TEIN, HKS, JIC
4. yes. 2 of them in Australia. Rush imports and EFI dynamics. They all need some tricky modifications to make them fit the US models.
5. tornado and or turbonator or any other devices or closely resembly or related all suck. They don't work. Don't waste your money.
6. no
7. non inteference.

1996 and 1997 SC400s still use the same 1UZFE motor only difference is t he ECU switching over to OBDII. I did some research and the VVTi motor that came out in 98 is an interference motor.
