ok heres my problem. The VIS front piece i got isnt gonan fit on my car, my car is sanded down ready to paint. The rest of the kit fits fine now i need to find a lip or something asap so i can get it painted at the same time. Anyone know if i where or if it is possible for me to order just the front lip of the wald(97-00) the vertex front lip or maybe the AC front? I like the wise sports or maybe BN lip but that would prob take forever for me to recive.

 

so you bought the VIS copy of the vertex kit and it didnt fit??

the whole kit needed work to make fit. The sides and rear we got to fit but the front is jstu crappy and we cant jstu get to fit. I have heard that there are two models of the vis front, the one that is made out of the green fiberglass and the crappy white one. I got the crappy white one.

 

The VIS kit rarely fits.

 

The Wald 97+ SC kit is only sold as a full kit and it takes 2 months for delivery.

Plus it doesn't fit without mods.

 

i got the crappy white kit too ... fortunately we got mine to fit.... but it doesn't look pretty


can't say much about their CF hoods either

 

so...stay away from the VIS you say?

I know importfan was selling BN for a while- maybe hit them up and see if they happen to have ANY of the 97+ lips sitting around. Also- hit up chris at speed aliance (official vertex dist in US) and see what he has...

 

Im gonna pick up the green fiberglass front to see if its any better, if not im trash the whole kit. I guess for 150$ thats how it goes.
