Really sorry about your ride.
I cannot for the life of me imagine this incident from the way you described it.
Hope you're covered and saved some receipts.

Hey man,

That really sucks dawg. Some people are real idiots undeserving of a drivers license. Glad you are ok and hopefully this won't affect ur insurance.

A lot of ppl don't know this, but you can take your own insurance company to court if you deem the amount they offer you for damage inadequate - remember they are in the premium collections business, not the claims payout bisness - if they can scam you on the payout, they usually will. If you sense you're being taken advantage of, seek legal counsel.

wish someone could of told me this soon it being my first accident. didn't even ask people to testify for me as witnesses. i just sat there in total shock. but it's not like i had much of an arguement.

me:your honor my car is modified like crazy with 10k+ invested in it ontop of a 15k car. i just don't have to reciepts cuz i didn't think i would get in an accident. and it makes no sense that i only got 10k back from insurance.
judge:it says you only paid 10k for the car itself on the pink slip.
me:yes this is because i was tryin to get away from paying higher taxes on the car. can i please get my money back....

eheh hope you liked my role play

it is not my fault i told the cop and i insisted that i wanted an accident report and i was not injured i was buckled up, his bumber tore off and his exhaust pipe bent thats it. but i blamed him and i told the officer it was my right of way and he agreed and the other driver had to admit he seen me and said he thought he had time to go and admitted it was his fault.

edit: I will not dare to try and fix that car again in my eyes its totalled i am pretty sure it is, my car wont shift in to park w/o force and the front end shifted so i am not trying to keep it.
my choices are G35c, 330ci, CLK430 or GS400.

You should still buy the car back and part it out.
You'll get much more $ back.

Beat him after you get the check

GS400 all the way, you know you can't go away from Lexus. i've been debating the upgrade myself.

Daaaaaaaaaamn! And you just hooked your car up too, man that sucks Rashed. I don't know what I'd do if someone did something dumb like that on the road, well actually yes I do...I'd split their wig with my big-azz Maglite and then probably face charges. But it would be what they deserve, glad to see you're not a violent ticking time-bomb waiting to explode like I am. Like others have said, at least you're okay. I'm always curious to know, in these situations, how the at-fault driver acted right as you both got out of the wrackage and started to approach one another. I know that split second is what would determine whether or not I got violent at the scene of the "accident"...

Hopefully if worse comes to worse insurance will let you part out the car so you can make some of your investments back. Good luck man, let us know what happens. But do tell me how this other driver acted right as this episode ended...
