Well, it finally happened...
I got my SC. After looking long and hard and taking the advice and opinions from lots of good people on here, I got my car. Its a 97 300, black on black. The only upgrades the previous owner did was replace the factory amp and sub and also the factory speakers. Everything works except the cigarette lighter seems to have problems with my cell car charger. The light on the charger will be lit for about a minute TOPS and then it goes out and then I will have to unplug it and plus it back and...same thing. It seems like there is a loose connection there or something, is this typical??? Also the passenger side window goes down rather slow. It is only going down though, going up the window has no problem. Some other small things like wheels needing to be balanced and some bulbs needing to be replaced. Overall I am really happy with the car. I spend 11k, out the door, including a new tag, not just a transfer. The car had 104k highway miles, so on a 7 year old car that seems about right. Well tommorow if I get time I would like to give it a nice cleaning and snap some photos for you guys. Just wanted to say that I finally got a car and thank you to all those people I nagged for advice.

Ahh you are right, I didnt in this thread. Its an auto, which is oddly enough what I ended up wanting. Im coming from a turbo GSR so that clutch made me realize that my city and 5-speeds are not a winning combo.

I dont take offense but dont take offense when I say that I think you are wrong. I will go take better pics today of just the wheel. Maybe I am wrong but in this pic is the only time I have seen it look the color it does. I will take a pic of it head on as it is and then after i put some protectant on. My buddy has grey interior and when he has the car detailed the grey is just a glossy grey not a black. I will take pics here shortly for you...anything else you would like pics of though while I am out there...
BTW if you look, my floor mats and that part are the exact same shade but I can assure you my mats are indeed black as well....

Alright I took a few more pics of the air bag...while in some lights in it definately a shade ligher than black I honestly still do not think it is grey. One of the biggest reasons why I stand by that is because EVERYTHING around it with the excpetion of the stitching is the exact same shade. Here are the pics but please pay attention to the text under them:
first this is pic i took the moment i got into my car
something i noticed while i was at a light, pay attention to what is circled in red...notice the air bag and the piece behind it are the exact same color except for one spot...where it is yellow and if you look closely there you wheel see the stitching and PART of the piece behind the air bag are the exact same color.
left half-has some protectant on/right side-still dry
with the whole bag in protectant now
same thing just a different pic
notice how everything including the bag is all the same color. only the bag and the stitching around the wheel has had protectant added and maybe a little bit on the piece behind that but not a single drop on the column immediately before the gauge cluster
