Default car hesitates when accelerating hard.

yup, that's what my car does everytime i gun it! what seems to be the problem?
it runs perfectly fine on normal driving but you want to pass another car real quick, it starts to hesitate.
more like a "sputtering" hesitation. i have not checked anything yet but if you can give me some guides,
i wud greatly appreciate it.

tks in advance.

Default Timming...

You might want to check your timming.. It may be slightly advanced therfore running lean so when you try to accelerate your engine gets to much air and not enough gas for rapid WOT... Hope this helsp.. Good luck with the car buddy... Bryan

You didn't mention if your car was auto. Mine sometimes downshifts when I gun it, and this someitmes feels like a hesitation.

Definitely check your spark plugs first, these are usually the first things (if they haven't been changed recently), could be a light misfire on acceleration too? I was getting something like that when I gave my Soarer a bootfull (overtaking etc.) and the car would start shuddering it's way to redline. Changed my sparks and it didn't happen again.

my car used to hesitate as well, dumping in a few bottles of few injector cleaner works if your feeling the car hold back when u floor also clean the tb that will help too. That helped a bit for me but there was also other issues. After i changed my spark plugs spark plug wires rotor cap and leaky valve cover gaskets fuel filter, air filter and pcv valve my car ran like new again and the hesitation went away. If you havent done a tune up in a long time then i think now is the time.

I've seen that happen before, and it was a dirty fuel filter.
When was it last changed?
Good luck

How could I forget... It could be clogged up if it hasn't been changed in a while.
