it's not worth it, you're better off getting a set of 95/96 taillights and doing it yourself....for $800, you can do lots more or better yet start saving for that turbo kit.......
my car is a 92, here are pics of my DIY tails, may not look as good as the clearcorners.com set or the takakaira.jp.co set, but it's close enough for my liking:
and as for the clear sidemarkers, yes, go for it, i plan on getting myself a set
Your car rocks! Very nice and clean. I wish when i'm done with my white sc3 is will look like yours. What kit do u have on your car? JIC right? I love your rims too man. I listened to my friend and gotten me the kazera. I dont really like it, but that will do. I didnt want to spend more then 1600 on 18s. I was about to buy the 245/8/19 ADR X-Factor even though it was $1850. They didnt have anything greater then 8 so i decide not to.
I really want the turbo kit. I just hope that it costs under $2500 for all the parts. The labor will be cheap for me cause i know this mechanic guy. He'll probably do it for me at $200 for the labor. I think the shop will dyno it for about $150 right? And then i have to upgrade my ECU too...DaMn!!! MO money.

Pat
Pat, now........ when are you giving me that car ?
Before you go and throw $800 ( ) at some cleared lights, check out what you can do yourself for less than $10
Here's a pic of my DIY cleared tails. I used some plastic diffuser from Home Depot and had enough left over to do another two sets plus the side markers
Yeah, listen to these guys it is best to save your $800 and do the mods yourself. Buy the 95-96 and custom them red/white. Use your $800 towards other engine upgrade or suspension. Here's a pic of mine:
A pic when I was done: smoked red/clear

Sorry not trying to jack your thread...but i have the taillights with the orange on top and red on the bottom...do i just clear the top to get the same kinda look except reversed?
Dinh, your SC is like mine...in the '92-'94 category...I have never seen these lights cleared before, most people get the '95's and clear those because of the color set-up (red on TOP)..since our red section is on the bottom (and we have that small white section in the middle, like a side-marker) I'm not sure how that works law-wise (if you clear that section I mean) or looks-wise. Probably best to get the 95's to be safe. Or you can be one of the first to do it
i would've tried to clear the top of the 92-94 lights, but i read and confirmed that it is impossible because the lense itself is amber, so you can't clear it, kinda sucks
deng wmulli and SC400_408, your guys' came out more clear than mine, mine still have that pinkinsh hint to it
maybe cuz i didn't put any plastic diffuser in there...oh well

Are you using red bulbs? Hmmm??? I replaced all my filament bulbs with LEDs. They're clear until they turn on, then they're bright red. Same with the side markers, I used amber LEDs that are clear until turned on. One slight hassle with the LEDs, you need a resistor on the turn signals to keep them from blinking too fast, and another on the tails to keep the dash warning light from turning on.
