Sorry she's dirty- it's been raining. I'll post better pics once i get the red/white tails done and wash it.
The guy that i took it to does awesome work. It was $200, but well spent. There are no cutoff lines above the dots, he went over them. Looks factory (if cars came tinted factory) My friend and I spent 4 hours wed. night stripping the old stuff. What a pain in the ***- but I saved $75 Anyway, on to the pics
It's 15% in the back and 20% on the sides.
From the front- windshield almost looks tinted also
Here is a pic with mom's 99 maxima SE in the garage- it's got a few goodies also Not your ordinary grocery getter
Looks nice dude, perfect choice of darkness. Let me ask you this, why did it take you 4 hours to strip off the old tint? I stripped off my old tint with a steam gun, some windex, and a razor blade and I had it off in under an hour. Just wondering...
the old tint had been on for years- and it was quality film with LOTS of glue. Had to be extra careful as not to cut the defrost lines on the back window. I used a razor blade to go in between them, and really fine steel wool to go over them. The window was constantly being sprayed with a mixture of water/dishwashing liquid while i was doing all of this. It probly wouldn't have taken me as long but I was a perfectionist.
