6spd install
Just wanted to let you guys know how the 6spd install went last night. GREAT! My car is a 93 (5spd), I had to do some very minor pounding with the sledge to get it to fit, infact the most modification was around the shifter hole in the tunnel. The shifter assembly had the most interference with the tunnel, as it sits pretty high. You'll need to cut the hole a few inches further back (thanks bmsport) and then pound up on the sheet metal a bit. The other section that needed just a bit of pounding was near the bellhousing area. It was pretty minimal on just how much more clearance was needed.
My buddy and I were really surpised on how easy it went it. It looks like it belongs on our cars
I'll post some pics this weekend.
Happy Holidays

Ok, here is a pic with some notes on what and where the tunnel needs to be modified around the shifter.
It may be a little confusing. Also feel free to pm for details. I'll get the other pic up of the tunnel, however, I think bmsport has a better picture of where it needs to be pounded. Hopefully he will see this post and link it in. I think the most contact came from the shifter area. I only pounded up the trannel tunnel a slight amount, and it doesn't seem to have any interference.
Hope this helps a bit.

Bean, pics won't be required in your case. The getrag is a direct bolt-on for the '95 sc300.

No cutting/pounding is involved in a 95??
I guess I should definitely look for a 95+up then since I already have a 6spd tranny laying around...
