Question Help!.......guys w/ the GTE swap?

I was ordering some things from PHR today, and I was shocked when they told me that the PHR Rigid motor mounts for the Supra won't fit the Soarer? So could some of you BIG Power guys shed some light on this problem?

i used the mounts that were on the gte
-motor didnt fall out yet
may want to tell jerrad that your using the
gte - not the ge
so long as you leave the gte brackets on the
block - you can swap any "supra" engine mount
you want -trd what ever
the brackets are different which makes the
mounts different heights

Default Ok, thanks....................

Ya, the motor has the USDM supra brakets on it. I thought they would work, but I guess we just had a misunderstanding?

Angry

I too ordered the phr engine mounts for my jdm GTE. Apparently for some reason my 94 clip had 98 mounts. They were too long, so you need to order stubby 97-98 mounts. Good luck returning the mounts to phr, restocking fees are a *****.

Default I don't get it?..................

Are there 2 diff. PHR mounts or are there 2 diff. Toyota mounts? I have 94' USDM motor and mounting brakets on the block!

again
the best of my knowledge there are
only one type of gte mounts (height)
order mounts for a '94 turbo supra
& dont tell them what their really for
mine also is a '94 us spec engine
& all is well w/ no problems
