Default body colored side markers.

hey, i posted my car up a couple of weeks ago. amongst the suggestions was to get some clear side markers (blinkers)

well, before i went and spent $150 on clear ones, i figured i tried and see what some spray paint can do. worse case scenario, i cut them out and tried to clear them myself.

they still light up orange at night but during the day i think they look okay. what do you think?

Blinkers

interesting mod, and from those angles it looks pretty good. got any closeups (unlit and lit)? did you use pearl paint or just white, and if so, was it a translucent paint or just regular ol' body paint?

just pearl white touch up paint. had some left over. figured it was worth a look.

it was a lot easier than cutting out a piece of that clear vinyl. that stuff cracks so easily.

I personally only like the smoked on black (like mine) and think color matched lights look a bit weird on other colors. Clear lights look good on all colors.

In that picture above, my lights are on and you see a bit of the bulb. When lights are off, it's totally black.

Here's an old picture of GlobeCLK's GS in silver that he spray with matching color to the car.

Sorry to show all these GS pics in the SC forum .
