Did factory 5spd manual SC300s ever come with traction control?
Maybe I am missing something here, but did the factory 5spds ever come with traction control?
Where is the switch located? On automatic cars with TRAC, switch was always on the shifter bezel between shift **** and ashtray lid. Never seen a manual shifter bezel with one of these switches, which lead me to thinking, did they never come with traction control or was the switch mounted somewhere else on the manual cars?

Do you know what part of the US your S Cwas initially purchased new? I imagine if it was from PA, it should have had traction control (if that was ever offered on 5spds).

Nope. 1992-1997 5-speeds never came with a traction control option in any market. It was also the same for all 1993.5-1997 Supra NA 5-speeds. Only Supra MKIV TT's had traction control as standard. And I believe it became a later option on Soarer 1JZ-GTE 5-speeds if I am not mistaken.
97-SC300, the 5-speed bezels only ever came in one stamping which had the seat heater switches installed or a blank-out plate for cars without the seat heat option. There were no extra switch areas from the factory on our M/T console bezels.

Not that it's fully relevant to whether or not manuals came with TRAC, but it may be relevant to switch placement. On my '98 400 auto the TRAC switch is under the dash, between the steering wheel and the gas/trunk release buttons. (Side note: I hate where my TRAC button is located.)
