Default 2023 Lexus RZ 450e

I think this new 2023 Lexus RZ 450e would be top seller very soon.

If this is out by 2023, I may look into this over the F-150 Lightning

because they're so comparable.

Yeah, that's it! No, actually I would prefer an SUV over a pickup for the family car. I chose the F-150 lightning because my wife wants something with almost comparable hauling space as our Sienna...the F-150 was the closest. An SUV would be more practical, unfortunately most EV's right now are CUV's. If this came out, it would be an actual SUV

an f-150 lightning to replace a minivan... of course! it does have a giant frunk which is neat, but obviously nowhere near the interior space or 3 rows, etc.

a full size ev suv... the new hummer? your wife would definitely make an impression pulling up to the school.

Unfortunately the RZ450e is just another CUV, rather than a body-on-frame SUV type though. It is the Lexus version of the bZ4X after all, maybe a bit stretched, and more powerful motors; but in the end, it's still a CUV at heart.

I see, that wouldn't work for us

LOL my wife would die if I brought the Hummer home! Just to big, and way too pricey. We don't need 3 rows, the extended cab is enough for us. We use the van a lot move chairs and tables back and forth, my wife is constantly loaning and borrowing outdoor tables and chairs from friends. We buy a lot of stuff from Home Depot and Lowes etc. Although yes it's not a minivan replacement, it's the closest EV to being the size of our Sienna that doesn't cost over $100K. Also if the range proves true, we could use it to travel when we go to Southern Cal

An F-150 Lightning is quite the replacement for a minivan indeed.

It's actually around the same price as a 2021 Sienna Hybrid, except it has more power, more cargo capacity, just less seating

Is this the one that's supposed to do 0-60 in two seconds? If so, I can't see what purpose that would serve in a vehicle such as this. It appears to be a somewhat compact, commuter CUV.
