Well you can always find positives. Here are some:

Looks decent
Excellent Lexus build quality
Comfortable interior
Comfortable ride
Familiar control's
Decent power and efficiency

Unfortunately, the cons:

Extremely poor range
Slow charging
Limited availability
Expensive pricing

The first and last con outweighs most of it's pros

Yikes.....that is horrible...and pointless...imagine what those tires do to the range and for zero benefit.

And over landers usually need to carry at least one spare. If not two. Just adds to the weight. Range is gonna be like 90 miles lol

C&D just did their road test and it did not go well. A mere 120 miles of range on the highway. The Mazda MX-30 was more efficient than this...

Also, I don't know why but Toyota tuned the gearing of the motors to mimic a laggy automatic transmission. So unlike most EV's, which have almost identical 0-60 and 5-60 times, there's over a second of "motor lag" with the RZ.

Unfortunately, we're told the e-TNGA platform can't accommodate a larger pack unless the wheelbase is stretched.

Koji Sato better get to work.

That has to be the ugliest vehicle I've ever seen in my life. If not it's definitely in the top 3. Then to find out real world range isn't even 100 miles. I don't even know what else to say.

Now Lexus is offering $15,000 lease cash to get a new RZ450e. This sounds like a huge discount when a few months ago dealers were charging thousand above MSRP.

Default Lexus Reserve Program for RZ 450e

The Lexus Reserve program is a big joke. Do not make a purchase decision based on this as you will be disappointed. You can reserve a car at your local dealer using the Lexus app on your phone but most dealers do not participate in the program so your reservation is meaningless. If you call Lexus customer service, they will give you the runaround. They suggested calling all the Lexus dealers in the area to find a participating dealer. This was very time consuming and a waste of time. We were put on hold for long periods of time as she tried to find answers.
The Lexus dealers will in turn give you the runaround. No one knows about it. You will leave messages for managers to call you back and they won’t. If you continue to call they will finally tell you that they don’t participate. Your blood will boil. Your blood pressure will go up. Don’t waste your time.

A lot more options when you look at what's available in Europe, but our choices in North America are pathetic compared to there.

For Tesla, Only the original pre-refresh Model S came with an opening roof. The rest just have a solid piece of glass.

Edit: forgot about the newly arrived MB EQB 350. Similar in price range; and comes with a pano roof as well.
I'd rather go for the Audi Q4 rather than the XC40. Though it's not the Recharge version, this review goes over some of the things I didn't like about the Volvo, which include the lack of visibility on the blind spots, awful brake feel and small trunk space in comparison to the competition.
