Has anyone ever seen a comparison of the two vehicles? The RZ costs at least 15000 more and does not seem to have the features of a Model Y. For example, the Model Y long range has a range of 300 miles.

Two very different cars, both with their pros and cons. Y has great charging infrastructure, battery, motor, handling and price. RZ has great interior, ergonomics, plush ride, quietness, build and durability.
So I currently have a 22 Model Y Performance. I’m currently looking to move to an RZ. Range isn’t issue but Tesla quality and ride is.
My 2nd Tesla hoping after years would be better. I can’t stand the rattles the creeks the cheap finish. The paint is absolutely horribe.
The speed and tech is addictive with the Tesla but that’s it. Level 2 at home is nice fast charging the Tesla but still. The huge rebates right now in CO 20k make it a no brainer almost.
I did not know about a 20k rebate, As I understand it, the RZ does not qualify for the 7500 as it is not buildt in the US and CO will not give a 3500 rebate either.
But even if they did, where is the 20k. As you said, it would be a no brainer. Too bad the RZ does not have a frump.
As far as I’ve been told so far in the initial stages of talking with dealer it looks like a Lexus rebate and lease rebate passed on to customer from Lexus to dealer.
I guess all states are different amounts. He’s also willing to take another 2k off MSRP. These really don’t sell due to all the horrible reviews. So they are pushing these.
I think the bad reviews are unfair. We have one and so do my parents. I think most of the negative press comes from the terrible GoM (especially w/HVAC on). I don't pay any attention to it, but % instead. Yeah, the RZ could be better, but it's a much nicer ride than the TWO MYs we once owned.
Of course, we do miss the Supercharger network, but in time that's supposed to get better, but I haven't seen much about Tesla opening it up to Ford and GM this month (so far). I need to peruse some Ford and GM forums to see what's going on there.

Are you in an area that gets winter? I guess that is the biggest concern with the range or the thing that people seem to harp on the most. I have a level 2 at home so each night I'd be full the next day. If you are in a colder area is it really THAT bad? I know on my Y I hardly notice it honestly. I drive 50 miles round trip daily to work.
There is an overload of RZs on many lots. The dealer near me has more than 30 sitting there. We just bought an RXh and they desperately tried to push us into an RZ
Yes, but they are not going to reduce the price down to meet the Model Y, which would be at least 20,000 off msrp. I would rather have the RZ for the plushness, but the range stinks.
Purchased 23 RZ premium 2/8/24, MSRP was $62,765, Longo came down to $55,345 & decided to lease, which gave another $15,000 off, bringing the car down to $40,345.
