Anyone know? Any worthwhile changes in model year 2022 vs 2021.

Don't make any life changing decisions on this since this came from my dealer, but I recently placed an order for an LC500 and before committing, I did ask him to ask Lexus Japan if they were planning any major changes (i specifically asked about a major redesign or touchscreen for the infotainment) and he said he was told no changes for the model going into 2022

I don't know either, but with dealers charging full MSRP nowadays and getting it in a lot of cases, might as well wait and pay full MSRP for a 2022 at the beginning of the model year.

I was wondering how long did they say it would take for you LC to deliver? I'm thinking of ordering a 2022 LC500 and was wondering how long would it take to build and deliver.

i'm sure a dealer would never say that just to sell the 2021 in stock.

I ordered my 2021 during the third week of July and I was told it would arrive in September or October. Coupled now with the announcement of cut backs in production, despite the dealer telling me adamantly that the car will be delivered during their initially quoted time frame, I will be pleasantly surprised to see it before November or December. From personal, previous experience of factory ordering cars, it typically, under best case scenario, takes approximately 3 months to arrive. Hard to tell when the 2022 model will start hitting our shores.

the dealers have had this information for a while. when i picked up my car 2 weeks ago, he showed me the changes for 2022 (which he showed me back in July, I just forgot). There stated no changes, but no price either.

I have checked all Lexus dealers all around 100 radius in Houston. Only a few lefts, like 6 of them. I rather get one right now then wait till next year !

Talked with my dealer yesterday and was told, here in Canada, the pricing won't be out for another couple of weeks. It was supposed to be 1 October but Lexus Canada has told them they are about two weeks behind schedule.

Wasn't holding my breath, but this is great! Love that the white/blue interior will be available. At least we're getting half of the '21 Inspiration Convertible's garb. Though not sure what exterior it will pair well with. Maybe only Nightfall Mica and whatever white.

And sounds like ride and suspension are further tweaked, which is cool as well. I think the vert rides decently, but could use some improvement.

Pretty much just what I was hoping for. Now just need to see the livery of the '22 Inspiration Convertible.

I wouldn't really call that a "few" lol. The LC has always been a rare vehicle to keep in stock. Originally, the plan was for Lexus to mainly do custom orders on them. But strategy changed and they started to just crank out fully loaded versions as default for lots. Anyways, 6 is quite a lot in a 100 mile radius. Good hunting for what you would want! If you do a nationwide search, there are a a few hundred and I anticipate some good deals to be had in the next few months.

It's amazing how one simple change can affect the look and overall feasibility of a car's interior. White interior seating is difficult enuf to maintain. But I can deal with that.
But a white steering wheel makes it almost mission impossible in terms of keeping this car clean. Yeah, you can clean it up but its never gonna look like it did as a virgin.
Changing the steering wheel to BLUE was a no brainer. I love it.
