Default How to fold the side view mirrors in?

Anyone figure out how to fold the mirrors in on the 2023? I took the specs from the Lexus website and my county tax records and I literally have an inch on each side. To add to it my car beeps the whole time like I’m going to hit something. Oh, and I’m currently crawling out the back, lol.

There is also an electronic version of the owner manual, in addition to the hard copies. It is very helpful to see how to use many of the new and great features of the car that what part of the cost that was paid by the final buyer.

If you want it to automatically do it when you lock the vehicle, then you have to have either “L” or “R” pushed in on the door as well. It’s a weird thing Toyota/Lexus are known for.

no?! that "L" or "R" function (tilt side mirrors) works for when in reverse. See screenshot above.

Default How to fold outside mirrors

Hi, just picked up my new 500h and forgot to ask my tech person if the outside mirrors folded in and if they do, how to do it. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

Should be the top left button of the mirror buttons on the left door (above the window switches)

top right button selects Auto Mirrors (fold when locking)

This has been a Lexus thing for years. It’s great because you can glance to see if the car’s locked just by looking at the mirrors. And the car is wide so it reduces the chance that the mirror will get whacked, when parked out in the wild.

The left or right button pushed has nothing to do with the mirrors folding when you lock the doors.

The farthest away button on the right on the drivers door does that. The opposite button folds them on command for going thru the

Activating either right mirror light or left mirror light causes both mirrors to tilt down while in reverse. If neither mirror light is activated, then there is no tilt upon reverse. You are right that the farther up buttons determine fold in, auto fold in or no fold in.

‘I am pretty sure we are in agreement. You can only have either the left or right activated at one time so it does not matter. Either will cause the mirrors to turn down when in reverse. I seldom use this anymore as with the 360 cameras, it is not needed.
