Does any one get a key card?
Hi, I am wondering did you checked with your dealership to see if they can program this card key for the 2023 RX model?
Apparently a brand new keycard can be programmed via TEchstream. Note that it must be brand new, so I suspect there is some non-erasable/rewriteable thing going on inside.
I'm not sure how a key card is any better than a fob though. The digital app idea seems useful, if it works. I know that it is possible to have GoogleWallet store some car keys.

Hi folks!
I just traded my 22' NX F-Sport for a 24' RX500h and I was disappointed that it didn't come with the Credit Card key. I tried using Digital Key, but it's a pain in the butt to make it work.
I shouldn't have to constantly login to the app or relaunch the app to make it work.
I'll be the guinea pig! I'm having the dealership program a New NX Credit Card FOB (8990H-78491) to my RX500h.
My dealer is willing to try program one for me @ $80.
Wish me Luck!

I wish the app (in Australia) can be a digital key. Unfortunately, it is not. I am told it can only be used to remote start but still need the key to drive the car. We get the credit card style card in Australia which I personally don't want. I hardly have my wallet with me in this modern digital world. Almost everything that I need on a daily basis is on my phone therefore would prefer a digital/app key!!

I'm still waiting my test Credit Card Key since they're heavily backed ordered.

Not sure whether the Lexus one is a Java Card, but some guy embedded a card in himself so he can open his Tesla and download others apps into it.

UPDATE:
I'm still waiting on my dealership to call me about my Smart Card Key order, but I'm leaning towards buying elsewhere like this site.
While I'm waiting for my Smart Card Key from the new site I found, I was doing a little bit more research on the FCC ID for our keys.
I've been using these sites as my reference:
https://fccid.io
https://electric.garden/denso-hyq
My OEM 24' RX500h FOB HYQ14FLC uses these frequencies:
312.1 MHz
314.35 MHz
Smart Access Card Key 8990h-78491 (HYQ14CBP), according to the FCC Filling, uses the same dual frequencies.
So in theory, it should work... I've been told by my dealership that the 23+ RX and 22+ NX basically uses the same key fob. (US Market)
I've asked another user here, pakbet, to send an image of his Smart Access Key Card for his RX. Here's what I found:
Part No. 8990H-78621
FCC ID: HYQ14CCP
433.58 MHz
434.42 MHz
I'm not sure if those frequencies are use for the European/Asian market. I need to do a bit more research on what frequencies their key fob uses.
