Just throwing this out there because it freaked my wife out. Today her clock was off 5 hours when she got in the car. The included subscription expired today and for some reason her car’s time zone was changed to Hawaii. Easy fix but weird.
So....being a woman "in the know".....do you travel cross country first....then drive over the Pacific....or take the long way and just hop over the Atlantic and visit other countries along the way?

Always follow the great circle route, especially with these gas prices. Unless you're FWD or it's winter. Then highly recommend going thru the southern states instead.

In general, when you're going to Hawaii from east of the Mississippi, gas prices are not the biggest concern.
