Just throwing this out there because it freaked my wife out. Today her clock was off 5 hours when she got in the car. The included subscription expired today and for some reason her car’s time zone was changed to Hawaii. Easy fix but weird.

 

We just got the expiration notice too...will check the time zone.

I remember the dealer telling that the location in the MAP app always started in Washington DC!

 

Yep noticed the same. I'm in California and it also changed to Hawaii when subscription expired

 

Maybe you guys have wives who secretly drive the car to Hawaii. And yes....they likely have the "waterproof" package on the car.

 

 

I wish Lexus had given us a free trip to Hawaii so that we could sync the clock. <<SNIFF>>

 

Hawaii has Interstate Highways, H1, H2 and H3...

 

So....being a woman "in the know".....do you travel cross country first....then drive over the Pacific....or take the long way and just hop over the Atlantic and visit other countries along the way?

 

Always follow the great circle route, especially with these gas prices. Unless you're FWD or it's winter. Then highly recommend going thru the southern states instead.

 

In general, when you're going to Hawaii from east of the Mississippi, gas prices are not the biggest concern.
