I want to start by saying that I have a bad back and find it very difficult to find a good seat that doesn’t cause me discomfort. With that said, I test drove an RX350 Fsport Design and found that the seat did wonderful! I then test drove the RX500h and really loved the extra power and feel of the vehicle. I like all of the features in the 500h, but I found that the back seat bolster digs into my back causing discomfort. I was wondering if there was any way to swap the seats between the two trim levels? I know factory won’t allow it, but could a dealer or other entity actually accomplish this? I really would love to own the 500h, but I don’t think my back would get used to the back bolsters. Thank you for any information!
Funny, I didn't even know the F sport seats were different between the 350 and 500. The vehicle body is identical, so there should be no problem unbolting one seat and installing the other. I'd be willing to go out on a limb and say they probably have the same connectors and motor configuration, so I would *expect* the memory, heat/cool functions should work the same
If you are asking if your local dealer would be willing to swap seats out? If you are willing to bring in suitcases full of cash, just ask the dealer if they can source the lower model seats for you and install them. Anything aside from their response is just a guess.
From an effort standpoint, i can share that I stripped the interior out of an older RX400h for my son. Removal of the front seats took less than 10 minutes with basic hand tools.

This is the exact reason why I when with an RX450h+ luxury.
The seats are the most comfortable of any car I have ever ridden in and the performance damn near matches that of the 500. Not to mention most of the time I am not burning any gas at all, except on roadtrips or when I am concerned about the age of the gas in my tank (3-6 months). Then I toggle on auto mode and sport mode and let it rip.
