Default 2026 Lexus RX350 Auto Stop/Start Option

Does anyone have any successful experience with finding a device that will disable the Auto/Start option on the 2026 Lexus RX350 AWD (Gas) model? I have not been able to find someone having success with the 2026 model year device. Thank you.

I've installed a device in my brain that makes me hit the start button and then the *** OFF button with my right index finger. 99.9% success rate.

I've always had the auto start/stop button deactivated by the dealer, but apparently with Lexus you can't so I have also got into the habit of turning it off before I move into drive. It's annoying but it is what it is.

Dealers can't do it because the EPA gives the manufacturers CAFE credits if the vehicle has auto start/stop that defaults to on every time the vehicle starts. These credits are ending this year barring any lawsuits so we may start seeing *** remember the last setting on future vehicles.

AFAIK there's no real changes to the 2026 model year. Just buy a $20 one from Amazon and try it out. Or you can try to contact 4D Tech and see if the customer support is worth the extra money they charge.
