Exactly why would I want to accentuate a speaker grill an air vent etc.

 

Just like why would I want white seats but apparently people do.

 

Because they don't show dirt as easily as black. And they're not hot in the Georgia summer. And because I have not one, but TWO white dogs whose hair would be very visible on black seats.

For me it was just the opposite. Love the look of the Macadamia seats but I have 2 black dogs. As far as the seats being hot, in Florida it doesn't seem to matter what color the interior is, hot is hot (other car has a light interior). We are lucky that we can garage our vehicles & if left outside for any length of time while shopping etc., I use a sunshade & have the front windows tinted to match the rest of the vehicle.
