Default Sirius XM Android Auto problem

Started about two weeks ago assuming an update on Sirius or Android Auto but both our vehicles 23 NX and 24 RX will not connect to Sirius automatically. All other apps work. Have to go to phone open Sirius app where it states try again and once I tap that it connects to vehicles. Anyone else having this issue and any solution? Thanks in advance

Have you checked the auto connect setting?
I have CarPlay, but sometimes in an update, my WiFi auto connect changes… Below is what Google says related to Android Auto… Good luck!

“Go to your phone's settings, then "Connected devices" > "Connection preferences" “Android Auto". Make sure "Start Android Auto automatically" is set to "Always"”

Thanks mine was set on default set by vehicle. Must have been an update that changed to default.

Yes - I use AA and my wife uses Crapple Carplay. Both working fine.

I just dumped Sirius XM after they jacked the rate. Got them down to $9.50 CAD/month but went with Spotify Premium family. Plus Sirius XM reception is horrible in our area and I can DL the Spotify stuff which XM won't do.

XM rate jack? I just online chat with them at every renewal and tell them to invoice the same as last period which is about $5/month. If not, I say cancel which they never will.

I do the same. Set up a Google event to call them a few days before automatic renewal hits for $212 a year. I say don't use it that much and if you renew for last year's price of $60 I will renew. It is to be a battle for them to agree but last few years they immediately agree.

They'll almost never let you cancel unless you no longer have the car

I have been paying $5/month for XM for the last 15 years. Anybody who pays full price for XM radio is out of their mind.

True - I'm beginning to think I'm out of my mind for paying $5/month. I think you could probably get it for half that if you arm wrestle enough.

I love it - we should start a contest - who can get XM at the lowest monthly rate
