Default Recall

It only mentions the 2024/2025, I wonder if the 23 is part of it?

It only mentions 24 & 25 because that's all that's affected by the recall. Don't try to find things to worry about.

The article linked below may give a better description of the three recalls announced today. The first was the Tocoma. The second:

“Some 2025 model year Toyota Camry and Lexus NX cars and specific Lexus RX vehicles from model years 2024 and 2025 have damaged second-row seatbelts. About 41,000 vehicles are part of this voluntary recall.“

The third recall not mentioned in the USA Today article regarding airbags (about 1,716 cars):

”The following makes, models and years are in the recall:
  • Lexus/NX/2023-2024
  • Lexus/RX/2023
  • Toyota/Corolla/2023
  • Toyota/Corolla Cross/2023
  • Toyota/Corolla Cross Hybrid/2023
  • Toyota/Highlander/2023
  • Toyota/Highlander Hybrid/2023
  • Toyota/Tacoma/2023”

I found info on the third recall mentioned in the article above from 1/29/2025:

Put your VIN into the NTSA or Transport Canada recall sites. Our 23 RXh 350 is not affected.

I checked the VIN of our ‘25 RX450H+ (FWIW Japan production) delivered Jan 16th on the NHTSA site and it was clean.

My Lexus app showed me a recall for my '25 RX 500h. Related to 2nd row seat belt.

Just looked up my VIN in the recall website. Thankfully, my car is not affected..........and my App also states No Safety Recalls
