in post 1416 above I have screenshots from the iOS app that I use with the ANCEL BM 200. I don’t know if it the same app for the 300.

Individually, the four separate cell banks are all above 3v, at 3.14v to 3.17v. The 18650 Liion cells are normally 3.7v each so, it's odd that they would be discharging across the board so rapidly in less than 24 hours.
My Ionic Emergency Start just updated the firmware to version 16. No idea what changed.

Can you please tell me where the firmware update was indicated? On my iOS app it shows version 1.5.2, but that is likely the phone app.

I think WellsB uses Android - the iOS version of the App has had the version 16 for a few months now. Its viewable and update is available at at the bottom line of the main view of the app (which has name of the device - just clicking it does the trick showing you any update available), the one that shows just after opening the app.

Yes,I have Android and the app is version 5.2. It's the device firmware that updated, not the app. It may have been available longer, but I had not checked since mid-October, when no firmware update was available.

Thanks, saw your screen shots after I'd possted. I googled difference btw BM 200 and 300 and my BM 300 doesn't have that feature. So I'll have to do the manual calculation using time to charge. Thanks again.

Can you elaborate, please? I have the Lexus app on both my iPhone and iPad. I see the window open and others, but not the Clean Assist…what does it do? Drive Pulse…don’t see that either.

Funny how I don’t get an alert about batter/electrical problems…😡

My 450H+ just came back from the dealer (regular maintenance) . Two years old and we've only put about 6000 miles on it. When it was new we got locked out of the car in our garage because the battery died over night (wtf?). Luckily Lexus phone support talked me through breaking in and charging the battery. I haven't had any incidents since then, but when they gave me the car back they said that they replaced the battery as it wouldn't fully charge. Odd.

This post of mine was from many months ago, so the App may have updated, but I was referring to declining and switching off these settings in the screenshot below, under:

Head-symbol on App's top-right corner -> Privacy Portal and Legal Info --> Vehicle Specific Settings --> Finally arriving at the screen shown below.

I had gone into "Clean Assist" and "Safety Sense Video Capture" to revoke consent so that the feature is deactivated (everything was activated by the Lexus "genius" at the dealership on delivery).

Keep in mind, I can't guarantee these will help in any way, but when about a year+ ago, we were being conservative with items that might have helped with battery drain. In any case, these were privacy red-flags to me, so I'm happy to have kept switched off. ""Clean Assist" claims to find EV drivers in California with 100 % renewable electricity" - it may not even be there outside of California, and seems quite pointless if one charges at home or work relevant for PHEV, which I do.

For a low-mileage car the battery is likely to be degrading faster due to the poorly-designed under-charging algorithm, but its a great thing to get new battery on Lexus' dime during the factory warranty - since Lexus-provided battery has 8 year warranty, and you can keep replacing the battery on Lexus' dime through the life of the car you own. Serves them right

Is that a full replacement warranty, or just an 8-year pro-rated warranty?

I've been tricked with those deals before. The pro-rated replacement sometimes costs as much as purchasing a discounted new battery...just saying.

Another warranty experience: Our company car's transmission needed a rebuild at 12,000 miles. Fine, no issues or cost.
But the trans needed ANOTHER rebuild after another 12,000 miles. Even though the manufacturer's warranty was 36,000 miles on the trans, they claimed that the factory warranty didn't apply because of the rebuild. Luckily for me, the company had to shell out the $$$.

The Lexus 12v battery is covered under the 4-year/50k mile basic vehicle warranty. Lexus replacement batteries have a 2-year free replacement then prorated from year 2 to 7.

As @WellsB said, the hybrid warranty (extended to 10yr on 2020+ hybrids) includes the high voltage hybrid battery itself (plus other hybrid power system elements), not the 12V.

Did anyone happen to find out what Lexus charges for their battery out of warranty ? Not that I will ever pay Lexus, but merely curious.
