Default Voice Warnings - How to turn off?

I have owned my 2023 RX since January. A few days ago, the car started announcing railroad track approach warnings and loud announcements such as "watch out, animal on shoulder ahead" and "watch out, car on shoulder ahead". In fact, no animal or car was visualized. I have looked in all manuals and on-line for help, but I cannot find how to disable the warnings. Was there an update that initiated these warnings? I cross and travel near several railroad tracks in my daily commute to work, and have only recently heard these announcements.

That sounds like Waze or Google maps. Check the settings.

It’s definitely Waze or Google maps doing it. Turn it off in their settings.

The animal warning is interesting. I thought only Volvo cars do that.

It's not the Lexus doing it.

I know that. Google Maps does not either. Not sure about Waze although I find it hard to believe it can "see" animals.

Waze allows you to report animals nearby.

I did not know that about Waze. I am reminded about the joke where a tourist complains to a park ranger that the Animal Crossing sign had no animals crossing.

Yes, I found out Waze opened when I selected Apple CarPlay. I have not used Waze in almost 2 months, but turning the voice alerts "off" solved the problem! Thanks!
