I recently purchased a RX 500h and am interested in changing out the chrome emblems/lettering with matte black versions to match the wheels/trim, like in the attached photo. I have not been successful finding any third party seller (such as on eBay) that has the new L E X U S lettering badge available for purchase in matte black. Any suggestions, other than waiting until some company makes them or having them plasti-dipped? Thanks very much.

I'm in the same boat. I have a new RX450h+ and have been unable to find a black emblem, as well. Lots of RX450h and RX450hL emblems but, I suppose that it is still too new and we will have to wait.
There is no easy way to do this. Apply Dupli-Color Black Pearl, wait a month then top it off with 2K clear. Can use other blacks but the Dupli-Color is very similar to the factory black Lexus badges.

hello. one question from a new owner , when you take out the letters does it have on the black glossy trim of the trunk any letters figure recessed or is it completely plain and can be with no letters at all?
There are no recesses in any of the body panels where the emblems are. When removed, its is just smooth body paint. (if I understood your question correct)

yes I like it to be debadged absolutely nothing on it. the black glossy part with nothing on it , but I was worried it had some marks for the letters or something else.
