Lexus now sells OEM BLK Caps that go over the letters with self added glue. They simply install over the chrome letters.

I too want to debadge - just getting the courage to heat and floss. Anyone please share the best way to remove any residue. I've heard of a special goo gone, and then I guess a good polish?

It very easy, hair dryer to them and then you probably can just pull off without the floss. There isn't much glue at all, and if hot it will just peal or use polish. I would stay away from strong stuff that could remove clear coat.

I removed mine using just dental floss. I was prepared to use heat, but was not necessary. Came off so neatly and no residue. So try it, you might be surprised. YMMV
