System malfunction error on dashboard
Just to follow up on my own post, looks like the issue I have encountered might be related to the state of battery. We don't drive the car much at all, so its been mostly parked. As such, the battery will naturally discharge, and while it did not reach critical level where the car will simply refuse to start, the battery charge level got low enough. I think the error I see is directly related to that.
I recharged my battery fully with a battery charger and sure enough, the error no longer displays when I start the car. I have to monitor is closely going forward, hopefully, that is it.

Another update to my issue, as the issue did not disappear, however, I reviewed TSB's for my car this morning, as I am getting ready to schedule Dealer visit.
Lexus apparently identified the issue and described it in TSB L-SB-0017-25.
It pertains to "Shift System Malfunction Warning Message on MID"
There were no error codes stored in any of the computer modules associated with this event.
Take it to your friendly Lexus dealer for reprogramming.
You are welcome.

Thanks, my car is in for service this Friday so I will add this TSB to the list. Where are you looking these up? I want to see if there is a TSB for the intermittent windshield wipers that stop working.

My new issue is that main center screen has stayed black during two separate starts. Upon restart, it boots up. It just never ends....
Rev -25 for that TSB is not listed at the DOT site, it stops at -24. I will have to ask the dealer to read it - its not that the rain sensor is "inoperative", its that it stops working while in use due to some variation in the required sweep speed, you need to flip the wipers off and on to reset it.

Yes I have a 2023. That might be applicable, I don't know, the term "inoperative" in the description seems to imply it doesn't work at all, which is of course impossible since the cars would never have been released with totally inoperative intermittent wipers. But I will send it to the dealer and see if it applies to my car, it should because it definitely works incorrectly. Thank you.
another weird sensor issue after a long drive two days ago, annoying warning symbol popped up, wouldn't go away...when I looked it up in the manual it said it could be for several things (not helpful) including Pre Collision system...suspect it was due to a lot of rain, error messages disappeared the next day...I like the car (2023 RX) but the sensors are a pain in the butt, including the cold weather Shift Malfunction non error...if they can't make the sensors more accurate, I wish they'd do away with them because they're distracting, can't get the messages to go away.
I would but my dealer is 3.5 hours away, not worth wasting a day on that. If the trouble gets worse I'll have to do that.
These messages I receive on the dashboard are reminiscent of the old, useless "check engine" lights.
