Personal decision. Easy to add later if you think you need them.

Only thg I left off on accessories. My Sales Rep didn't think they were worth it or added much. They're small, plus I have the 21" wheels so that will help some. In the end , its personal choice. My wife really wanted the illuminated doors sills & illum cargo sills . They look really good. Puddle lamps also.
Picked up vehicle yesterday . RX350 Luxury. Fully loaded.

If you are asking this question, I would recommend them. I have them on my 500h and they look quite good and most likely functional. Haven’t driven in the rain yet. It goes well with the design. I think these guards fit all trims.

Default I really like mine

Hopefully this video will open for you. The kind service tech who installed mine sent this video after he installed them. I really like the look. They are not so large to be overwhelming and they really do a good job of keeping muddy water from splashing up the side when driving on wet roads.

I did not get them on my 2013 RX and there has been no resulting damage, the rust proofing and paint are solid. Having said that, the new 2023 we just picked up came with mud guards, and they look fine (and can't hurt). The car also came with door edge guards which also look nice.

I am not sure if ours will come with them or not. But up here. with all the gravel and salt, they are probably needed.

I like them, I had my dealer order and put them on. This car hasn't seen any rain yet but I have them on a 2021 Honda CVR and it kept a lot of salt spray off the side panels.

Did you have them installed after you had taken possession of the RX350. If they had come w the vehicle they were 165.00, curious if you mind sharing what you paid. That's why I asked when it was done.

If you can get one with them already installed for $165, you should do it. I ended up paying $280 to have them ordered and installed after I took possession.

I paid $165.00 My dealer had 2 cars coming in exactly equipped except the one that I ordered had the mad flaps. The one that came in 1st with out mudflaps had a buyer that backed out of his deal. I told the dealer I would take the car if they ordered the mudflaps and only paid the $165.00 They were happy I did and I was not charged any labor.

Thanks. I'm already in possession of our vehicle as of March 28. They were willing to order n install mudguards once they came in. We said no at the time. Just asked the wife again tonight if she wants them. She says No! So No it is!! 😁

I have running boards on mine, all the dirt slings up on to them. Really need the mudguards.

I can't find the part number for the 2023 rx premium +. It seems most of the oem part sites are only showing 2022 models, very odd. Anyone have the part number?

I love mine. Had them on my 21 (installed after I purchased the car) and my 23 had them factory installed. They do help with splash up on the paint, which is what I wanted them for. If they hadn't been factory installed, I would have bought them from Lexus and had my independent show install them.
