HELP! I did a quick search but didn’t find anything like my problem. I have 2016 RX 450h but I’ll assume the liftgate is identical to an RX350. I disconnected the battery briefly and now the power liftgate doesn’t work. It just makes two beeps and doesn’t move either up or down. Same thing if I use the liftgate button, the FOB or the dash button. It’s open now – I don’t want to force it closed since it might get stuck like that.

As far as I can tell, every other function on the car is OK. I went into Vehicle Settings to make sure that the power was enabled, I even disabled it and enabled it again. The doors are unlocked, the Lock/unlock function is OK.

There is a fuse labeled PBD which I assume means Power Back Door but that whole row of the fuse panel has a blue bar over it. WTH is that?

This was the solution. This probably saved a trip to the dealer and a big bill!
