Replace lift gate handle
My garage door attached the back of our 2021 RX 350. The plastic piece just above the license plate and below the Lexus emblem was apparently damaged and later fell out.
I ordered the replacement part from our local dealer. But when we arrived to have the work done we were informed that was the wrong piece. The piece that is missing is the Chrome (plastic) piece about 14 inches long.
The dealership says that can't be replace and the entire panel has to be replaced at a cost of $1600.
Anyone have a different opinion or advice?
