I like the little leather one my dealership gives me when I buy cars from them, but I’d be open to buying a leather key glove in some different leather color shades (the dealer default is black).

I like and satisfied with the OEM leather cover from the dealership received with the purchase of new vehicle.
If decided to buy aftermarket pouch/cover, I'd want the one that covers the buttons, I think.

Voids your RX's warranty adding aftermarket accessories.

Just kidding nice personal touch.

Me too, but the one that came with my 2015 was of higher quality (maybe real leather ...) and did not show as much wear at 3 years as the one for my 2018.

The keys to my RX are in the Lexus genuine imitation leather cases that came with my car. I got this case for my wife's RX so we don't confuse which fobs go with which RX.

It never occurred to me that you were sewing those covers with your own little hands! LOL

I noticed that they cover the buttons -- does the covering affect the sensitivity of the button (i.e. do you have to press a little harder?).

Nope, not at all. Range and sensitivity remain the same. I like how it feels too.
