So when the Chicago dealer agreed to the deal, their car was sold. So I just used 7% on this dealer who had the car I wanted. At first, they said they can only do 5.5%. But when I told them another dealer agrees to 7% and we could drop a little to 6.4%, they just agreed. Therefore I know for sure that the dealer can definitely go over 7% if you really want to negotiate. However, these f-sports are selling so well, every car I saw at the beginning of March was sold within a week, so we couldn't just let my perfect car slide. In conclusion, these F-sports do not stay on the dealer lot. If you want one, and the specs & discounts are what you can deal with, take it. Otherwise, if you are patient, for an f-sport, you should aim for at least an 8%-9% discount since dealers can easily match 7% sometimes. For a base regular model, try shooting for 9-10% especially when you see that other dealers have the same vehicles on their lot via common specs. I was helped greatly by some folks in here and I hope this will help others along the way. Good luck on purchasing your Rx!

$63,160- $5,000 = $58,160 Dealer Price
($63,160 - $58,160)/$63,160 * 100 = 7.91% Dealer Discount
$58,160 - $2,500 Lexus Incentive = $55,660 Net Price
($63,160 - $55,660)/$63,160 * 100 = 11.87% Total Discount
$55,660 + TTL = 59,452 OTD cost
After a couple of rounds back and forth, this was the lowest they would go. Last ditch effort on my part to sweeten the deal was tint, which they agreed to throw in for free. However, they balked at my hard push to include paint protection film and mud guards (go figure). Overall, seamless buying experience.
How do you think I did?
Thanks

I am currently looking to buy a 2021 RX450h.
I'd like to know what is the best OTD price which you able to get in the Washington metropolitan area?
Thanks in advance
I too am looking at a new RX 350 AWD, with the following specs options...
Premium package, moonroof, heated and ventilated front seats, power rear door with kick sensor, intuitive parking assist, heated leather steering wheel.
Total MSRP after optiosn and delivery is $51,130. I am in NJ, and wondering what would be considered a reasonable discount off MSRP (on top of the current $2500 rebate) to shoot for.
Thanks in advance!
