That discount I assume without any Customer rebates direct from the mfg looks pretty good.
Whats your standard MF and residual for your term and zip code from edmunds RX forums?

Thats a 10.3% discount, which is respectable but i think you have some more room. However the more important information is the MF and Residual as Coolsaber points out.

I'm curious how you calculate the 10.3% discount? That's what it looks like just looking at the discount field, but the dealer is adding a $589 doc fee and a $795 'acquisition fee.' These are pure profit and must be subtracted from the stated discount. By my calculation this person is being offered an 8.1% discount ($6295 - $589 - $795)/$60,545. Not bad, but not 10+%.

The acquisition fee is a flat fee by Lexus not something that they waive. I don’t lease but I believe most brands have an acquisition fee so that’s not something they will negotiate against. Same with the doc fee varies from state to state so again another fixed cost. In my state it’s $150, some maybe higher or lower but something that all dealers charge so something you can’t negotiate. But I get your point.

It they are fixed costs, they either need to be subtracted from the discount or added to the MSRP. All work should be shown. There are lots of posts in the pricing threads that don't account for every dollar in the deal, and therefore inflate the stated discount percentage.

Like a purchase, a leasee needs to account for those numbers of any taxable fee which vary state to state. To be fair, I`d honestly negotiate based on getting that pre-incentive discount post dealer taxable fees as a purchase. Then tell them heres the base mF and residual for my set term and zip code, lets do this deal and then sign.

Asking for lease numbers is a game of deciphering funny math and payment class

I'm pricing a '21 RX 450H F Sport down here in FL. Fully loaded MSRP ~$63K. Cash purchase. Two dealers have quoted me $60K OTD, including the current $1,500 cash rebate. So only $3,000 off the MSRP. One of them is a Lexus Plus dealer. Seems low given what I've read above, but I understand that the 350 is much more discounted. Has anyone gotten a better discount on the Hybrid F Sport? I don't need to buy locally.

I would keep shopping if you are not in a rush go around end of Nov or December, and shoot for 10% if not more.

Love it. Couldn't be happier, much more space than the NX.

I'm a lease newbie. Do these numbers look decent?

MSRP: $51,950
Selling Price: $47,275
Lexus Lease Cash: $1,500
Loyalty Lease Cash $1,000
Military:$1,000
Term: 36 Months
Milieage: 5k per year
Money down: $0
Money due at Signing: $2,866 which is just taxes + your 1st payment.
Residual: 60% ($31,170.00)
Monthly payment $490 per month.

I live in MD so I have to pay all the taxes upfront. Thanks.

Is your mileage expectation really just 5,000 per year? If so, that vehicle will cost $1.33/mile to drive just in depreciation expense. Fuel and insurance will add ~ $.30/mile. That sounds wildly expensive to me.

Thanks. I need to check on the miles. 7500 would be a better estimate. I'm now leaning toward a purchase. My wife's '09 RX has been trouble free for over 10 years and 85k miles.
