Default Mods for RX 350L

Hey guys, I recently purchased a Silver 2018 RX 350L. This is my 4th Lexus. I needed to get a 3rd row seating car so I jumped at the chance of buying another Lexus once I found out the RX has a 3rd row. Now I'm second guess my purchase because RX 350L makes me feel like I'm in a soccer mom car! Help! I'm looking for ideas for mods on this car. I want a more eye-catching look. Something classy but still screams "I still got game" LOL
Windows are getting tinted this weekend. I'm thinking of buying new rims...maybe black rims. Any suggestions?

Share some pics of yours.

Not sure how far you're looking to mod but a nice set of 20"-22" wheels look great. You can always do a f-sport front end grille and lip conversion. blacking out the chrome window trim makes a huge difference as well.

I was told today RS-R don’t make lowering springs for the 2018 model. ☹️

definitely getting some 20’s on there soon, I was looking at the f-sport front end grill and lip conversion but wasn’t sure it would fit the 350L. Have you seen any photos of the L with the f-sport conversion?

when I searched the forum I only saw the RX 350 with the conversion. Haven’t seen the L’s with them. I called the dealership Friday and the guy in the parts Dept didn’t think it was possible either. I’ll call another Lexus dealership next week to confirm.

Dont quote me but im 99% sure it fits the L, the L is the exact same car just 4.4 inches long from the back, the fronts are exactly the same. The amount of money it would take to make new molds for headlights, hoods, fender, grills, fog lights, lips and cost of engineering/making them would be insane. Much easier to copy and on going production and add a bit from the back where its significantly cheaper to change.

regular rx350

a quick parts search shows its the exact same part number, 53111 for the top and 53112A for the bottom in the 350 and also the 350L. Many people have moved the f sport grill to the base model rx 350 without any problems and it looks way better imo. Personally I hate the blinds look of the base model grille enough to get an f sport, but to each their own. If i had to do it again id probably buy a base model and just swap the grill and save 12k lol and maybe get some black f sport side mirrors but on a silver car id probably leave it.. unless you get some black wheel too haha (:

I hate the blinds look too! Another Lexus dealership told me today that it would cost $1500 for all the parts needed for the swap. And even then they cant guarantee that it’ll fit properly. I almost want to take the risk and find someone to make it fit! 😂
