Apple iOS 13 / WatchOS 6 - 2017 RX Needs Software Update
Hi Everyone,
I just updated my iPhone 7 this morning to iOS 13.1 and my Apple watch Series 4 to Watch OS 6. Needless to say when I got in the car after work today my bluetooth on my Lexus went CRAZY!!!... Long story short after Troubleshooting my self and with Lexus of North America since my local dealership IT people were gone for the day - I was informed that I have BT software version 15 on my SUV and it needs version 17 to work. They said its not an over the air update, but something the dealer needs to update. Has anyone else out there come across the same problem? Crazy thing is my older work iPhone 6S with IOS 13.1 connected w/o a problem. Go figure...

After I updated my phone, my phone would not reliably connect to the car. It would connect for a few seconds and disconnect. I had to delete and re-sync it to my car. Now it works fine. There is a new feature added that allows iOS users to send canned responses, selected on the screen.
Ok. Here is a work around that I thought of and tried. I had even updated my iPad to 13.1, but I thought I’d try Bluetooth pairing it to my RX. It connected! I then turned on my phones hotspot, connected the iPad to the hotspot - turned on wifi calling and made a call with FaceTime voice. Low and behold it totally worked. At least I have Bluetooth and a phone until I can get my car to the dealership to upgrade the software.

I have the new updated Lexus remote app and it works on my iPhone 11 Pro Max however its not showing up on my Apple Watch Series 4.
It was fully working on both my iPhone X and the same watch before I purchased the new iPhone 11 Pro Max.
I know Lexus does stupid things in regards to technology but did they remove the ability to use the Apple Watch app with the new Lexus remote update?
